Rothmans Medal Winners

The Rothman’s Medal was awarded to the best player in both the New South Wales Rugby League (NSWRL) and the Brisbane Rugby League (BRL) competitions between 1968 and 1997. At the end of each match, the referee would award points to the best players in a 3-2-1 format. The player with the most points at the end of the season was adjudged the winner.

Since the formation of the National Rugby League (NRL) in 1998, the Dally M Medal has become Australian rugby league’s official best-and-fairest award.
